✨️ 2025 Bolton Poppy Appeal Confirmed Total ✨️

I have now received the confirmed total for 2025 from the Royal British Legion. Thank you again to everyone who supported the fundraising and helped to raise a massive £31,885.41!!

Poppy Appeal 2025

I haven't yet got the final figure for this year's Poppy Appeal, but I can tell you that it is definitely over £30,000! There are still a couple of things to come through yet, but I am absolutely over the moon.

Thank you so much to all the volunteers (including those that have helped with the count), Bolton Army and Sea Cadets, 14th Bolton Boys Brigade, Slaterfield Veterans and residents, pubs, schools, supermarkets, Mark Derbyshire, Hilary Fairclough, Market Place, Bolton, Bolton Market Stalls (thank you to Card Magic Bolton Market for coordinating), and everyone who has donated for all your support.You're all fantastic!

It's been a mad few months. I will get certificates out to everyone, but it may be January as I'd like to have a bit of a break, and then celebrate Christmas with family and friends.

It's a wrap for this year's collection points, and what a fantastic day! Still some photos to add yet of our brilliant young Cadets, but I think these photos tell us just what amazing support we had yesterday.

Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered throughout the campaign, behind the scenes and at collection points. These fundraising campaigns can only succeed with the support of the volunteers, who are very much appreciated.

If you haven't got your poppy yet, they are still available in pubs and some businesses.

It's the last Friday of the Poppy Appeal, and Mac is manning the stand in Morrisons Town Centre. Please say hello if you're popping into the store!

There will be volunteers at the following collection points tomorrow:
📍Sainsbury's Town Centre
📍Asda Astley Bridge
📍Market Place Bolton
📍Morrisons Chorley Old Road - unfortunately, there will be no volunteers in this store today, but you can still purchase a poppy from the Customer Services counter, or come and see us at one of the other locations.

There will also be Cadets in the Town Centre and Bolton Market.

Thank you so much to Claire and the 53rd Delph Hill Brownies for volunteering their time on Sunday at Asda Astley Bridge. A fantastic job with lots of smiles, and super helpful.

Simon and his team from Slaterfield Veterans and residents have been at Sainsbury's Town Centre again today, and had a visit from the Mayor and Mayoress.
Pop in and see them tomorrow from 9am!

We had a great day yesterday, with the Boy's Brigade at Morrisons Town Centre, and Codey and myself at Morrisons Chorley Old Road.

Unfortunately, we've had to cancel setting up at Bolton Market Place this weekend, but we will be there next Saturday with the Sea Cadets and other volunteers.

Another great day fundraising by the Slaterfield Veterans and residents. Lots of smiles and chats with customers at Sainsbury's Trinity Street.
