Veteran's Army

Veteran's Army Veteran’s Army was founded to help support, counsel and train former service people from across the UK Armed Forces.

We help those who are suffering from PTSD and those who have fallen into addiction, homelessness or unemployment by offering therapy, training programmes and courses. Our mission is to help individuals readjust to civilian life and avoid the pitfalls of PTSD, including anxiety, addiction and, all-too-often, homelessness. We've believe that those who've served their country should receive unparalle

led support and recognition following their military career. If you agree, please follow our page and show your support.

Tomorrow is St George’s Day.

And somehow… people feel like they have to think twice before celebrating it.

Raising a flag.
Showing pride in where you’re from.
Standing for something that used to bring communities together.

That shouldn’t feel controversial.

Because what built this country wasn’t division.
It wasn’t labels.
It wasn’t people tearing each other down from behind a screen.

It was community.
It was respect.
It was looking out for your neighbour.
It was standing shoulder to shoulder, no matter your background.

That’s who we are at our core.

So if you want to raise the flag, raise it.
If you want to celebrate, celebrate.

Not out of defiance.
But out of pride in the values that actually matter.

Strong communities.
Real connection.
Having each other’s backs when it counts.

That’s what this day is about.

And that’s what we’re bringing back tomorrow

Everything feels a bit fractured right now.
Everyone’s got something to say… but no one’s listening.

Lines drawn. Sides picked.
Communities drifting further apart.

That’s not what built this country.

What built this country was community.
Looking out for your neighbour.
Standing shoulder to shoulder.
A sense of oneness when it mattered most.

That’s who we are at our core.

So we’re bringing it back to basics.

A proper British day.
Real people. Real atmosphere. No divide. Everyone welcome.

DJ. Food. Kids face painting.
A day for everyone. No exceptions.

And it’s not just a celebration… it’s a mission.

Project Respite.

Raising money to give veterans and their families something they don’t always get…
Time away. Space to breathe. A reset.

Because while people argue about everything else…
There are still those who served this country who need support.

Today Veterans Army turns 5.

Five years ago, founded Veterans Army after realising that when he needed help the most, there simply wasn’t enough veteran led support available.

He didn’t want to be another person saying “someone should do something about this.”
So he became the person who said “I will do something about it.”

In just five years, Veterans Army has:

• Delivered hundreds of hours of therapy to veterans
• Homed 5 therapy dogs supporting mental health and recovery
• Delivered £2 million worth of life saving medical equipment to Ukraine
• Provided thousands of pounds in financial aid to veterans in need
• Hosted countless veteran community events
• Completed over 30 fundraising challenges

It hasn’t been easy.
There have been endless financial struggles, but the mission has never changed.

This year we launched our most recent offensive.

🎯 £50,000 for Project Respite

A mission to provide free caravan holidays for veterans and their families, giving them the chance to rest, reconnect and recover during difficult times.

So as we celebrate five years of Veterans Army, you can help us secure the next five.

If you would like to support the mission, please donate to Project Respite via the link in our bio.

Celebrate our past.
Help us to secure our future.

Across frozen plateaus and endless white, a team of brothers set out to take on one of the toughest challenges of their lives.
The Heroes of Telemark Expedition saw the team cross 80km of unforgiving Norwegian wilderness on skis, retracing the historic route taken by the Norwegian resistance during WWII. Battling brutal conditions, exhaustion and terrain many had never faced before, every mile demanded resilience, grit and trust in the men beside them.

Each man came to this expedition with his own reason for being there. Personal challenges. Personal battles.
Personal purpose.
For some, the mountains are where they test themselves. For others they're where they find themselves.
Because sometimes the greatest therapy isn't found in a room... it's found out there, in the cold, the silence, the hardship and the shared struggle.
Adventure has a way of healing things words can't reach.

Ryan Yates completed the expedition to raise awareness and funds for Project Respite an initiative by Veteran's Army that aims to provide free caravan holidays for veterans and their families, offering time to rest, reset and reconnect.
