⚽🍻 England are in action against Norway tonight, and for many of us that means watching the match with a few drinks.

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a beer or two, but it’s worth remembering that alcohol can affect our judgement, emotions, and reactions.

✅ Know your limits.
✅ Stay hydrated.
✅ Never drink and drive.
✅ Look after your mates and make sure everyone gets home safely.
✅ If you’re struggling with your mental health, remember that alcohol can often amplify difficult feelings rather than take them away.

The best victories are the ones where everyone gets home safe and can enjoy talking about the game tomorrow.

Enjoy the football, back the Lions, and remember-being responsible isn’t boring, it’s looking after yourself and those around you.

Let’s go England!! ⚽️

Tuesday Tunes makes a triumphant return with an absolute banger!!

Drop your song in the comments and, if you’d like, tell us why it resonates with you. You never know - your recommendation could be exactly what someone else needs to hear today.

Let’s build a playlist of support, hope and connection, one song at a time. 💙

🎉 One Year of Connection Hub 🎉

What started as a simple idea to take what Chris and Taylor created in Australia over to Cornwall and to bring people together has grown into a small community, built on conversation, support, friendship and understanding. Over the past year we’ve shared laughs, supported each other through difficult times, and shown that nobody has to face life’s challenges alone.

As we celebrate our first anniversary, it feels especially fitting that it coincides with Men’s Mental Health Month. From day one, Connection Hub Cornwall has been passionate about encouraging men to talk, connect, and seek support when they need it. We know that opening up isn’t always easy, but every conversation matters.

Mental health affects us all, and sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is check in with a friend, send a message, make a call, or simply let someone know you’re there for them.

Thank you to everyone who has attended an event, joined a conversation, offered support, or helped spread the message over the last 12 months. You’ve helped create something special.

Here’s to another year of breaking down stigma, building connections, and continuing to champion men’s mental health.

💙 Talk. Connect. Support.
💙 Happy 1st Birthday, Connection Hub!

Mental Health Awareness Week is a reminder that behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a community.

In Cornwall, the su***de rate stands at 15.6 deaths per 100,000 people, compared with 10.7 across England and Wales - nearly 46% higher than the national average. This is more than a statistic; it reflects the urgent need for greater mental health support, connection, and early intervention across our communities.

That’s why we are incredibly proud to support so many amazing charities and organisations across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly that work tirelessly to reduce su***de, provide crisis support, tackle isolation, and ensure people know they are not alone. Their work saves lives every single day.

Mental health matters to all of us. By raising awareness, supporting your local communities, and encouraging open conversations, we can help create a Cornwall where everyone feels seen, supported, and able to reach out for help when they need it.
