We had a really interesting talk from Carolanne Wynne from Etta’s Homebakes last night. Her granny was the inspiration behind the business teaching her how to make scones, tablet and drop scones from a very early age.

What a fantastic day at the SWI Angus Federation Show🎉

Our planned speaker couldn’t make it tonight, but that didn’t stop us having a great evening at Newtyle SWI. It was a perfect chance to enjoy supper together, have a good catch-up and plenty of laughs.

Tickets for this years Members Gathering which is taking place in Dundee in September go on sale tomorrow.

🎟 Members’ Gathering Tickets – On Sale Soon! 🎟

We’re excited to announce that tickets for the Members’ Gathering will go on sale at 11am on Thursday 5 February (that’s one week today!).

At the same time, the dedicated Members’ Gathering section of the SWI website will go live, with all the information you need to book.

You’ll find everything in one place – including the ticket booking page, a full programme, speaker and workshop information, accommodation options, FAQs, raffle prizes and more.

We’ll be offering a wide variety in the programme, including speakers sessions, Q&A panels, live cooking demonstrations, and workshops that cover crafts, out & about activities, health & wellbeing, and expert talks – there really will be something for everyone. Workshop spaces are limited, so we strongly encourage booking early to avoid missing out on all the available options!

We are delighted to announce that SWI members can book tickets at a reduced rate which will include access to the event, lunch & refreshments, workshops & exhibitions, however non-member tickets will also be available so please encourage friends and family to come along for two days of fun, friendship & learning! Part-payment plans will be offered to help split the cost in the lead-up to the event.
