We are a local charity group, who care about the park and the local community. In normal times (ie Non Covid times) the Friends usually run fundraising events to help make improvements on the local Park, holding Sports Coaching sessions for Youngsters which includes free Youth Crown Green Bowling sessions in the summer. unity Gardening sessions in the . The Community Gardeners usually meet on a Monday/Wednesday and Friday weekly during the Spring & Summer and fortnightly in the Autumn/Winter - weather permitting as we are fair weather gardeners. We work with the local council to create an inviting green open space for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully all activities will resume once we are allowed to gather together. �
