4 of our Cubs and 2 of our adult volunteers are in Brussels with the West Lancs Cub Scout International 2025 contingent. Having a wonderful adventure so far!

A brilliant night Mowbreck Scout Campsite with 1st Bispham Beavers and 1st Bispham Cub Pack
We have made s’mores and yummy bread twists, played games in the amazing open space, built shelters and sang round the campfire 🔥 🏕️

We also celebrated a Flamboree (Jamboree Around The Fire)The global celebration of Scout and Guide campfire fellowship, taking place around the world in June every year. 🎵🔥

A wonderfully wet and wild day for a team of 6 of our Cubs today, representing the pack in the annual Blackpool District Cubs Challenge! They took part in a number of Scouting activities - shelter building, fire safety, first aid, staying safe on camp, planning a dream camp, and of course making and eating smores!
We were soggy but happy, and had a great time! Thank you to the District Cub Team for organising and hosting!

Certain our Cubs will enjoy their adventures with some new furry friends....

Exciting News!

We are thrilled to announce that 1st Bispham Cubs has been specially selected to trial a brand-new Scouts Petting Zoo Programme! As part of this initiative, Cubs (and their parents!) will be responsible for daily walks with our new furry friends—including alpacas and goats!

To make this as easy as possible, leads and harnesses will be provided, and we will set up a schedule to ensure every family gets their fair share of quality animal bonding time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our Cubs to learn responsibility, teamwork, and animal care—plus, who wouldn’t love an alpaca as their new walking buddy?

Tonight Cubs played a strategy team game of Ticking Timeball, developed our problem solving skills crossing the room on a piece of paper, and set our Personal Challenges. Great fun had by all!
