This Invisible Disabilities Week, we’re reminding everyone that not every disability can be seen 🌈

At Brian House, many of the children we care for have disabilities or health conditions that may not be obvious to others.

You can’t always tell what someone is living with just by looking at them, or the challenges they and their family may face each day.

So this week, and every week, please choose kindness, patience and understanding. A little compassion can mean more than you know 🥰

Looking for some spooky stops this Halloween? 🎃

Throughout October, we’ve been gathering together some of the best spookily decorated houses across the Fylde Coast to create a Halloween trail for you to enjoy!

On Halloween, all of the houses taking part will be collecting donations for Brian House, helping to support our children and families.

So get your costumes ready, gather your little monsters and see how many spooky houses you can visit! 🦇

A massive congratulations to Hannah Threlfall and Jessica Isherwood, our top Night Run fundraisers, who raised a brilliant £1,392.50 for Brian House Children’s Hospice! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful for all the hard work they put into their fundraising, and to everyone who supported them along the way.

This week, we’d like to say a very special thank you to Arlo’s wonderful family, who raised an amazing £580 for Brian House by taking part in this year’s Night Run 🌙

Arlo loved his visits to Brian House, and his family have been part of our sibling and family groups for many years. Since they sadly lost Arlo, that connection has continued in many different ways.

It was lovely to welcome the family back to Brian House for their cheque presentation and to celebrate everything they achieved at Night Run 💛

We’re incredibly grateful to Arlo’s family for continuing to support Brian House in his memory, and to everyone who generously supported their fundraising.

Thank you for raising such a fantastic amount and for being such a special part of the Brian House family 🌈
