🌻 A little of your time could make a big difference at Mary’s! 🌻

We’re looking for volunteers to join Mary’s Fundraising Shop in Claremont and Highfield 💙

Do you enjoy meeting people, keeping busy and making others feel welcome? We’d love to hear from you!

🤝 HIGHFIELD
You’ll work alongside our lovely managers, helping customers, sorting donations and keeping the shop looking inviting. You may occasionally cover the shop on your own for an hour or two, so you’ll need to feel comfortable taking responsibility during that time.

🔑 CLAREMONT
We’re looking for someone dependable who can open and close the shop and work independently. It’s a quieter shop, but we keep its doors open because it matters to the community. A friendly face, an affordable find and a little conversation can mean more than you realise 💙

✨ You could be just who we need if you’re:

✅ Friendly, patient and welcoming
✅ Reliable and able to stick to agreed times
✅ Honest, trustworthy and comfortable with responsibility
✅ Happy to use your initiative and lend a hand
✅ Someone who treats everyone with kindness and respect

Whether you’d like to meet new people, build your confidence or put your skills to good use, there’s something rewarding about being part of your local community 🌻

📩 Message our page or call Lisa on 07792 725457. Let us know which shop interests you and when you’re available.

💛 Can’t volunteer? Please share this post. You might help us find just the right person!

📣 WE NEED YOUR BLUE TOKENS! 💙

We’re absolutely delighted to be part of the Tesco Stronger Starts voting scheme — but we need your help!

If you’re shopping in Tesco and receive a blue token, please look for our project in the LEFT-HAND column and pop your token in our box. 💙

Every single token counts, and the more votes we receive, the more funding we could secure to support the people in our community.

It costs nothing, takes seconds, but could make a BIG difference to us.

💙 Shop at Tesco
💙 Pick up your blue token
💙 Find us on the LEFT
💙 Pop it in our box!

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST with friends, family, neighbours and local groups. The more people who know, the more blue tokens we can collect!

Thank you so much for supporting us. 💙

Have you got any bric-a-brac or household items lying around that you no longer need? 🏡

Mary’s Preloves is currently in need of donations, especially bric-a-brac and homeware. Items such as ornaments, kitchenware, picture frames, lamps, vases, decorative pieces and other household treasures are always appreciated.

Every donation helps us raise vital funds to support local community projects through Fylde Opportunities Trust and Beauty Against the Big C.

You can drop your donations off at either of our shops:

📍 1 Ashburton Road, Blackpool
📍 50 Highfield Road, Blackpool

Before you take it to the tip, why not give it a new home? Your unwanted items could make a real difference to someone else.

💛 Thank you for supporting your local community. Every donation really does help.

Please note that between Tuesday 28th July and Tuesday 25th August, our Inclusive Dance Project will operate on a reduced summer timetable due to the school holidays.

Classes will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm only.
During this period, all participants are welcome to attend the combined session, where we’ll continue to enjoy fun, inclusive dance, music and movement together.

Our normal timetable (12.30pm–2.30pm) will resume after 25th August.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you throughout the summer! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to Ryan! 💙
We just wanted to take a moment to say how much we appreciate everything Ryan brings to our inclusive dance sessions.
His energy is infectious, his enthusiasm never fades, and he has a real talent for adapting every session so everyone feels included. Ryan has a wonderful way of connecting with our participants with learning disabilities, making each class fun, engaging and full of confidence.
We’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of the team. Thank you for making such a positive difference every single week. 💙🕺
