Urgent session changes for TOMORROW at South Family Hub only (8 September).

👉 Little Discoverers is CANCELLED
👉 Sensory time, 1pm to 2pm. This will be moved to Revoe Children's Centre at the same time.
👉SEND Afterschool Fun, 4.30pm to 6pm. Moved to Palatine Library across the road.

All sessions at South Hub have been moved or cancelled. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

A perfect session for children in primary school to attend after school on Tuesdays, sign up now to secure your space! ⚽️🎾🤸

Taking place every Tuesday evening from the 8th September up until the 10th November, it's the perfect way to get your child to run off some steam after school at our Family Hubs 🏃‍♂️

Call 01253 476480 or pop into our North Hub on Di**le Avenue to book your child into Active Families. 📲

School may be just around the corner, but there's still time to practice toilet training with your child. 🚽

Toilet training is more than just using the loo. It's about helping children know when they need to go, ask for help if they need it, manage clothing, wash their hands and build the confidence to take on new routines when they start school 📚

Every child develops at their own pace, and some children, including those with additional needs, may need more time and support than others - toilet training is all about progress, not perfection.

That's why the 'Toilet Training Talks' series with and .eyfs is packed with practical advice to help you support your child as they get ready for school, one step at a time 👣 💗

Our next face-to-face "Triple P for Baby" classes start next week. Why not sign up if you're a new parent? 👶

Taking place over 9 weeks these sessions will help promote your baby's development, build a strong bond with your baby, and manage common difficulties of caring for babies. These sessions are good for both mum and dad to join 👫

You will also have the opportunity to meet other new parent and carers in a similar position. This could be a really great way to start your parenting journey! 🙌

Our Autumn timetable is set to launch next week, with a few new additions...

This term we have added a few new sessions to Revoe Children's Centre:

☕Neonatal Journey Coffee Morning on Tuesdays
💬Babbling Babies on Thursdays
👶Chatting with Children on Mondays
🤝Volunteer Drop in session on Thursdays
🗣Parent Carer panel on the 15 September
and a half term story session on the 26 October 🐻‍📖🐭

We hope that bringing some sessions closer to you will make it more convenient for you and your child to attend 💖If you would find it useful for us to do a walk through on how to get from a bus stop to the entrance, please do let us know!

Tip seven: The first week can be tiring. That's OK. 😴❤️

Starting or returning to school is a big adjustment. Children can be tired after a busy day of learning, socialising and getting used to new routines. So, don't worry if everything doesn't feel "normal" straight away.

Here at Blackpool Family Hubs, we run a whole variety of programmes for parents. This is just a little taste of the content we discuss in the sessions.
