Hello! We have had many enquiries about when we will be hosting more events. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate visitors without safe access and parking at the rear of the building. For those of you who pass regularly you will have seen that since August 2025 we have had only useable gate. We are continuing to store stone for Bellway to rebuild our pillar and wall following their demolition.

Hello! I wondered if anyone would be interested if we set up a Weardale repair shop with Wolsingham Steelworks CIC 🔨✏️🔧

- In the former Steelworks Offices
- Bring along things that you need fixing
- Meet new people
- Learn new skills and share skills across the generations

We are not trades people and we are learning as we go.

It would need to be Sundays 3-5 pm due to our other commitments

We would need helpers 🌼

I hope everyone is enjoying doing what they love.

I’ve been working on a new studio space in our old foundry building. Today, our first attempt and wallpapering with 1970s paper by Crown with Ben Martin-Denham. It’s taken a long time to get this far, the end is in sight (for this room). Only another 19 rooms to go ❣️
