Honestly, how do we even begin to convey how we feel about the launch of BrumsQ***rMarket. We set out with a goal to begin bridging the gap between Pride's annual celebration to the year round experience of the LGBTQIA+ community. The response we got was a soul lifting affirmation that we are on the right track, narrowed down to one quote from this weekend “it was like pride if it was run by le***an moms”

BQM is a collaborative community event between ourselves (Faye and Nic) and the Village Inn/Nightingale Club (the venue). We have received amazing support from them both on the day and in the lead up to the event. Posters outside and in as well as massive collaborative efforts on social media. Thank you for giving us this space.

What’s next for BQM? We have three more appearances across 2026. Saturday 22nd of August and Saturday 28th of November will see the return of two floor market and social whilst our next dates May 23rd and 24th will see BQM feature as a one floor market at Birmingham Pride 2026. We are still riding the high of this weekend so planning is already in its chaotic first stages. We thank you for your patience whilst we organise said chaos!
