🔥 Well… this happened at BQM. 🔥

MSTER hit the catwalk at our Big Summer Bash and, quite frankly, **WOW.** 🥵

Very attractive men. Very small un**es. An extremely appreciative crowd.

MSTER brought a whole lot of confidence, body positivity and seriously hot q***r fashion to the BQM stage, showing off their range exactly as it deserves to be shown off.

🌈✨ A little look back at one of the really special moments from our BQM Big Summer Bash 💜

At 2pm we gathered together as The Radical Celebrant led a beautiful naming ceremony for Suzy, surrounded by friends, community and a whole lot of love. 🥹🏳️‍🌈

There is something incredibly powerful about getting to stand in a room full of people and say **this is who I am, this is my name, and this is me** and having your community there to celebrate that with you.

A huge thank you to Suzy for allowing us to share such a personal moment, and of course to the wonderful Radical Celebrant for creating another ceremony filled with warmth, joy and meaning. 💜✨

❄️🌈 And The Radical Celebrant will be back with us for our **final BQM of 2026 on Saturday 28th November, 12–6pm**, this time leading a special winter celebration of **chosen family** as we head into the Christmas season and celebrate the families and communities we build for ourselves. 🎄💖

✨🌈 A little Friday throwback to BQM with the absolutely wonderful Dahliah Rivers

We were so bloody pleased to have Dahliah join us for Drag Stories at last weekend’s BrumsQ***rMarket, sitting down for a chat about the person behind the performer, the journey, the highs, the lows and everything that has shaped the fabulous human we know today.

One of the things we love most about BQM is getting the chance to celebrate the people who make our q***r community what it is, and Dahliah has been part of Birmingham’s drag scene for years. 🏳️‍🌈✨

BQM’s Big Summer bash you were gorgeous! Thank you to every single person who showed up for us, it means the world! After a month of heatwaves it was not the sunny day we were expecting but there was certainly a heatwave inside…IYKYK.

Our biggest thanks as always goes to the VillageInn and NightingaleClub, many do not know that BQM is a collaborative community event between ourselves (Faye and Nic) and the venue. We have received amazing support from them both on the day and in the lead up to the event. Posters outside and in as well as massive collaborative efforts on social media. Thank you for giving us this space.

Secondly we have to thank all the incredibly talented makers and creators who came to trade with us yesterday! We absolutely love seeing the stalls take shape in the morning filled with such passion, talent and a metric tonne of q***r, quirky and quinky style! Thank you for bringing your best selves to our day!

BQM’s inhouse celebrant struck again right in the heart strings as we all came together to celebrate a moment for one of our community. Suzys naming ceremony was deeply personal and a privilege to share in. Thank you as always to the Radical Celebrant for holding and hosting such a space.
