This week we hosted a Halloween party during half term, with some of our brilliant Youth Ambassadors to celebrate the year so far - they also made some more JBF bracelets! 🎃

After a busy few weeks of our team delivering workshops, it was a lovely chance for everyone to take a break and have some fun.

Another brilliant week of Urban Aid workshops at JBF ✔️

– the words of just one of the organisations we worked with this week.

Urban Aid combines knife crime prevention with practical learning on how to respond safely in an emergency. Participants pick up real-world, life-saving skills, including what to do when there’s no first-aid kit or tourniquet available.

It’s never too early to learn how to help someone in an emergency, and the young people certainly threw themselves into every activity again this week.

What a week for Lee and Ellease! 🙌 Our Training Manager and Youth Worker have been travelling across Walsall and the wider West Midlands, delivering back-to-back Urban Aid sessions to schools and organisations, and next week is looking just as busy!

Urban Aid helps young people build the knowledge, confidence and practical life-saving skills to look out for themselves and each other. Every workshop is tailored to the age group we’re working with, and our immersive activities mean young people get hands-on experience they’ll actually remember.
