RQG member, Dr Sarah Rogers has just published her new book, The Matron Maker.
This book is a biography of Eva Lückes, a protégée of Florence Nightingale who became the influential, innovative matron of The London Hospital, Whitechapel for four decades and trained almost 500 matrons.

Register of Qualified Genealogists congratulates RQG member Nicola Johnson on being awarded the Masters Dissertation Prize by the British Commission for Maritime History, for her work on the Titanic Relief Fund. Nicola examined the Fund's previously unused records to examine social mobility among the orphaned children of the Titanic's 280 stokers.
