Types of Headaches 🤕🧠
Not all headaches feel the same — and the location matters. Here are common patterns:
⚡ Stress / Tension → band-like pressure around head
🌪️ Migraine → throbbing, light/sound sensitivity, nausea
🩸 High blood pressure → can feel intense; check BP if unsure
⏰ Cluster headache → severe, one-sided, often around the eye
🌫️ Sinusitis → pressure around nose/cheeks + congestion
🦷 TMJ → jaw tension, clicking, facial pain
🏋️ Exertion headache → triggered by heavy lifting/cardio
💥 Thunderclap headache → sudden “worst headache” (urgent!)
🩹 Post-traumatic → after head/neck injury
🚨 Seek urgent care if: sudden worst headache, confusion, weakness, fainting, fever + stiff neck, or after a major head injury.
