It was a very dry and warm well-being walk Wednesday. Key highlights were horses seen in open field. Lovely blackberries seen in the brambles, a lovely snack midway through the walk. A crow seen resting on a tree.

🚣 Come and Try Bell Boating at the Minworth Community Engagement Day! 🌿

We're delighted to have been invited to be part of the Minworth Community Engagement Day, organised by the Sutton Coldfield NNS

Join us on Saturday 25th July 2026, 12pm–4pm at St. George the Martyr Church Hall, Minworth (B76 9BU) for a fantastic free community event. There'll be something for everyone, including local stalls, arts and storytelling, live music, food from around the world, crafts, local services, and much more!

🚣 Why not try something new?
We'll be offering free Bell Boating sessions throughout the afternoon, giving you the chance to experience the beauty of the canals from the water. Whether you've never been on a boat before or you're looking for a fun family activity, Bell Boating is safe, inclusive, and suitable for all abilities.

⏰ Spaces are limited, so make sure you book one of our available time slots on the day to avoid missing out. Time slots: 12:30, 1:30 or 2:30 email [email protected] in advance or at the Church on the day.

Come along, meet the team, enjoy everything the event has to offer, and discover your local waterways in a whole new way. We can't wait to see you there!

It was an very grey but dry well-being walk Wednesday. Key highlights were seeing and tasting sweet blackberries, horses seen in felids, thistle going into seed, hearing robins and long tailed t**s. First sighting of a Kestrel hovering. Although we are starting to see many trees removing their leaves because of the little to no rain.
