Last night we looked at the up and coming World Cup. ⚽️🥅🏆

The boys found the names of countries taking part in a word-search, played a football team themed game, found all the countries taking part in the World Cup on a map and they picked the names of some countries that they’re going to support.

Another busy fun packed evening.

This evening the boys have had fun playing with bubbles and various games, including hunting for cards, spot the difference and ‘clap, stamp, slap, snatch’. 🫧🫧🫧

We have also welcomed two new members 👏👏👏

A fantastic time was had this morning at the Battalion Anchor & Junior Section Fun Morning ! 🎪🤹‍♂️

This year’s theme was the Circus, members decorated cakes as clowns, made masks, decorated hats, made bookmarks, dressed as clowns, played games and learned circus skills. There was lots of laughter and fellowship throughout the morning 🤡🎈🎪

A huge thank you to all the helpers who made the day such a success 👏

Another busy and messy night!

We have been talking about ‘Gentleness’. The boys have become Gentle Super Hero’s, made masks,made and played with Oobleck, and passed a music around a circle as gently as they could without makos sound.

Tonight we have used the BB resource Jesus and the Miraculous Catch of fish. The boys have taken part in a craft activity,listened to a story and played Battleships.

The boys started the evening playing a board game ‘Manner Monsters’ and then completed their ‘Joy’ artwork. They then decorated biscuits for St George’s Day and took part in quiz about St George, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

‘Joy’ has been our theme this evening.

We looked a different scenarios for times when we feel joy, the boys listed things that bring them joy and played games that made them feel joyful. 🙂

Tonight the boys have learned about ‘hedgehogs’. 🦔
One of the activities was to create an edible hedgehog, the boys certainly enjoyed cleaning their plate at the end ! They also had a game of ‘Skittles Battleships’.
