Wishing Abbie and James the BEST of luck today as they run the Birmingham Half Marathon raising funds for Melody!

Some of our tutors (and potentially a couple of our students) will be playing some Samba grooves to welcome Abbie and James over the finish line today!! There’s still time to donate if you feel able to - check out the vibrant running outfits our superstars will be wearing today!!!

We’re having a bit of a Social media spring clean as there has been lots to share with you all!

On Monday 23rd March we had our first sharing event of the year! It was particularly exciting because it was the first time our new tutors had led their own activities as part of a performance with Melody. Some highlights included:
- Count on Me 🔢
- O when the saints 😇 (with improvised solos)
- The Ordinary 🎶
- Making Music 🎧🎤 in which our MMB Band explored music technology and modified instruments

Well done to our performers and tutors!

We also have some news 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️
Our MMB Band leader Abbie Pascoe and Trustee James Kidd will be running the Birmingham half marathon in support of Melody! We are exploring finding ways to musically support Abbie on the day to spur her on!

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the tough decision to cancel our SEND ceilidh that was set to take place on Sunday 29th March.

We are really sad to do this but hope to reschedule the event at a later date 💃 🎶
