A pleasant & very quick outreach tonight everyone just seemed to come from nowhere & before we knew it we were out of food.
Weather was also very kind to us 🙏🙏
Tonight we was armed with cheesy bacon pasta (thanks Tina) cold drinks, flapjacks, crisps, cold drinks, hot drinks, clothes, toiletries, hats, gloves, socks underwear, sleeping bags & I came back with not a lot ❤️
Thanks to Carol four donations it really means a lot 💕

We had a bit of everything tonight.
Chilly with heavy showers at the start, but then mild and warm later on.
We saw mainly grateful and pleasant people on the streets, but then a few abusive idiots who gave us a bit of a challenge at the end. It was nothing more than bravado though.
But a special shout out to the two lads in the first picture. They were very friendly and thankful for what we supplied them with, even after I asked if their accents were from Liverpool. Turns out they're Geordies! At least I didn't ask if they were from Sunderland. 😆 🤣
We handed out loads of our usual provisions, and finished almost empty handed as ever.

Tonight we were armed with camp stew, chilli & jackets, Greggs, crisps, chocolate, flapjacks, clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags, gloves hot drinks & of course trainers for AL 💕

Well that was a chilly outreach & much darker winter is well & truly on its way, be grateful for what you have get into bed tonight 💕
Armed with loads of Greggs, beef stew with Yorkshire pudding (thanks Tina they lived it) crisps, chocolate, cold drinks, hot drinks, clothing, sleeping bags, shoes & some warm hoodies, socks & underwear & we returned with nothing. The left over sandwiches I dropped to Waterside Hostel so nothing went to waste 💕
Everyone was grateful for what they received even socks the cat for his cup of cream 😻
Tonight my thanks as always goes to my capeless heroes for their precious time & tonight they were

It's getting dark early as Autumn approaches, but it was still a very pleasant evening in Birmingham tonight.
We served many street folks, and other than one spot where it was obvious some dodgy substances were being used, everyone was very grateful, polite and happy to chat.
We got through all our usual supplies of hot food choices, hot drinks, sandwiches, underwear & socks, clothes and rucksacks.
We've had a Magnificent 8 out on most recent Wednesday evenings, and tonight was no exception; tonight's bunch of heroes being;

Well, that went quick. We decided on a slightly different route tonight to avoid being swamped at the start. But guess what? We got swamped at the start!
However, this was by some genuinely needy folks, so we were more than happy to hand out what we had. This was the usual hot dinners, Greggs bags, cold drinks, hot drinks, clothes, toiletries, socks, boxers and rucksacks.
So we'd finished well before 9pm this evening, giving me a chance to listen to the footy on the way home too. 😊

Well that was busy warm & windy Thursday outreach 💕 We certainly was needed tonight & everyone was grateful for all that we had for them tonight, no drama just pure gratitude & thanks from all our street lovelies 🥰
Tonight we were armed with jacket potatoes with veggie chilli, bacon & potato bake, chicken dinners (thanks Elaine) cold drinks, hot drinks, crisps, chocolate, breakfast bars, bananas, sweets, toiletries, clothes, trainers, sleeping bags, blankets, boxers, socks & came back with a few items of clothing so a great night all round.
I’ve missed my Thursday volunteers so it was great to see the ones I didn’t see last week ❤️

It was a lovely late Summer evening tonight, and we met plenty of people in need of all the provisions we've become known for. We do need to work out how we can avoid being swamped early on though. Once again, we saw the same faces at the start asking for items they've had multiple times before, which can mean we're short of the same items later on for those who really are in need. There's not an easy solution though.
However, armed with our usual hot dinners, hot puddings, loads of Greggs goodies, toiletries, hot and cold food, clothes and underwear, we made lots of people very happy.
Big shout out to Lisa (picture 1) who is looking the best she's been for some time and is always thankful for what we do for her. And a big hello to the guy (picture 2) who is not only from Wigan like me, but is even from the same bit of Wigan; Hindley Green. We could have reminisced all night if the others hadn't intervened. 😆 🤣

Well we were a smaller team than usual & if Janet & Sarah hadn’t came out from Wednesday crew there would of only been 2 of us & it’s not how I wanted Thursdays to come back. So thank you to Sarah, Janet & not forgetting Ethan Sarah’s son who came out for his first outreach tonight for helping me out 💕💕
It was a night of rain, thunder & lightning but we was ready for this armed with pasta bolognaise & cakes (thanks Tina) bananas, cereal bars, sweets, chocolate, crisps, cold drinks, hot drinks, clothes, footwear, socks, underwear, bedding, poncho’s & umbrella’s ☔️☔️☔️
Everyone was grateful for what we had & we didn’t return to our cars with much at all🙌

So my thanks tonight goes to my capeless heroes who tonight were
