500 years after the publication of William Tyndale’s English New Testament, his remarkable work and legacy continue to be remembered.

Our latest article, Tyndale’s New Testament at 500, reflects on the impact of making the Scriptures available in English and the opposition Tyndale faced in doing so.

To mark the anniversary, exhibitions featuring rare surviving copies of Tyndale’s New Testament are being held at the British Library and at St Paul’s Cathedral in London throughout 2026 (full details for these events available on their websites).
