The Ethos Team at one of our partner schools, Ellowes Hall Sports College - Invictus Education Trust were delighted to welcome 35 families and over 80 members of our community to a Family Fun Day last week!
The theme was The Good Samaritan, brought to life brilliantly by Josh from Sedgley Community Church . It was a wonderful opportunity to explore the message of caring for others, showing kindness, and looking out for the community.
There was something for everyone, with lots of crafts, big games, fun activities and a picnic lunch for families to enjoy together.
The team were also thrilled to welcome RNLI and Your Health Dudley, giving families the opportunity to connect with local organisations and access valuable support and advice.
One parent shared: “What an amazing morning, we have all enjoyed the activities, plenty to do for different ages. We valued having the food bags as it takes the pressure off our finances in the holidays. I have linked in with Your Health Dudley, which will help me and my son.”
This is exactly what family events are about - bringing people together, creating positive memories and making sure families feel welcomed, supported and connected.
