Yesterday, the Ethos Team at Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst hosted their very first Fun Day - and what a success it was!
A huge thank you to our Family Support Worker for her planning and dedication in making the day so special. The Ethos Team were also proud to launch their very first Young Entrepreneurs Market, where students showcased their creativity, sold their products, and raised over £100 👏
The day was packed with fun, including a bouncy castle, gladiator arena, chocolate giveaways, and plenty of prizes such as Easter eggs!
The Ethos Leader at Tudor Grange said that it was wonderful to welcome over 50 families and to see the community come together for such a memorable day.

Last week, our Ethos teams hosted Easter Reflections drop-in sessions, creating space for students to pause, connect, and think about identity and transformation.

Through games, creative activities, and exploring the stories of Easter characters like Peter, Mary, and Thomas, students reflected on how people can grow, change, and discover their true value. From feelings of doubt, grief, or failure to hope, confidence, and restoration- the Easter story reminds us that transformation is always possible.

Students were also invited to take part in a creative activity, writing positive affirmations to remind themselves that they are loved, valued, and accepted- finishing with something meaningful to take away with them.

A thoughtful and encouraging time to help students reflect on who they are and who they can become.

🌟 Tove 10 Acts of Kindness at Huxlow Academy 🌟

As part of our Tove Learning Trust 10 celebrations, every Huxlow Academy student has been entered into a lucky draw to win an Easter egg. Winning students will be able to collect their egg from our Ethos team.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tradewind Recruitment and Grace Foundation for their very generous donation of Easter eggs, helping us bring a little extra joy to our students as we continue our 10 Acts of Kindness initiative.

It’s been inspiring to see our school community come together in such a positive way as we mark this milestone year.

The Ethos team at one of our partner schools, Ellowes Hall Sports College - Invictus Education Trustt- runs a weekly social action visit to their local care home, where students enjoy playing bingo with the residents.

The impact of these visits is felt by everyone involved. One resident shared, “I do love seeing these young people - spending time with them makes me feel young.” One student reflected, “It helps me feel good to make a difference and help our community.”

Our Ethos teams build meaningful links with local churches and organisations, enriching the experiences of students and strengthening their connection to the wider community.
