Namaste,
Summer heatwaves bring sunny days and ice cream! But when a long, hot summer suddenly ends, the weather often swaps bright sunshine for heavy summer rainstorms.

You might think super dry ground absorbs rain like a giant sponge, but it actually does the opposite.

When soil gets baked by the sun for weeks, it turns hard like concrete. The water can’t soak in fast enough, so it slides across the ground and can cause sudden flash floods.

The good news? You, your family, and anyone living with chronic health conditions or pain can prepare step-by-step, without overexerting yourself!

Do you want to prepare for possible flash flooding?

Namaste,
As a creative soul, I’ve always needed an outlet to express myself. 🎨

Right now, I don't have the space at home to pull out my paints and canvases. But that creative energy inside of me isn't going anywhere and I was getting frustrated, so I decided to channel it into a new passion: writing and sharing what I’ve learned about health.

For years, I’ve been journaling, reading scientific research, and exploring how chronic pain, stress, and wellbeing all interconnected. I needed a single place to hold all these thoughts, research papers, lived experiences, and artistic ideas.

So, I officially started my Substack! 🚀✨
If you live with chronic pain, manage an invisible condition, or care for someone who does, this space was built for you. You’ll find real-life tips, accessible science, and creative insights to help you navigate long-term health with confidence.

To kick things off, one of my very first posts dives into a question I get asked all the time:
🧠 Why Your Brain Gets Stuck in "Pain Mode" (And How to Gently Change It)
I break down the science of neuroplasticity in simple, practical steps so you can start calming a hyper-alert nervous system today.

I would love your support as I launch this new chapter!

Let me know in the comments: What health or wellbeing topics do you want to learn about next? 💚🌿
