Birkenhead Scouts

A massive Congratulations to Sue Taylor, Wiggy Sue to many of us, who receives the Silver Wolf award last night at the County AGM and Awards night.
The Silver Wolf is the highest honour in scouting and a rare award. But Sue thoroughly deserves it for her many years of dedication not just to Birkenhead groups, district and Gang Show but also to the county where she is involved with Dof E, Tawd Vale and the county team.
Sue receives the Award from County Commissioner Chris Valentine-Burrows and County President and Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, Peter Oliver

DLV Jane and Producer Paul have been on a Gang Show tour this weekend. Friday we visited our neighbours West Wirral Scout District for a show that was every bit as good as we expected. (You can still book for Sunday Matinée) Then Saturday some of the Birkenhead Gang joined us for our annual trip to see our friends at Marple Gang Show with our traditional first. Three Cheers to them for another fantastic show. (Their show runs for another week and is well worth the trip.)
