Beltane is a festival celebrated on 1 May, marking the transition from Spring into summer on the Shamanic wheel. Fertility and the season of potent vitality and growth.

Traditionally, celebrated with fire rituals, with bonfires lit for protection, cleansing and blessing of land and livestock.

It honours the union of the Green Man and the May Queen, symbolising life, creation, fertility and abundance.
