We educate others about exotic animal welfare & husbandry and also rescue, rehabilitate & rehome many species. We also offer animal encounters to schools, carehomes, hospices & other business sectors in order to raise money for the rehabilitation of our rescued animals.

Hello Animal Lovers 👋🏼 ☀️ 🐾

We apologise in advance for the difficult photos when it comes to this little rescue...

This little one is one of the WORST cases of abuse we've seen for a while... And yes, the police are involved and doing all they can (which we appreciate!).

This beautiful little boy needs a name, we can't even tell what breed he is, he's roughly over 10 years old... Which will make the road to healing a little slower but we're doing all we can to make him comfortable. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

He looks like he has mange... But he doesn't!

The cause of his fur loss, bloody lesions, sore skin and what has also not helped his eye condition are FLEAS!!!

Can you believe!? Something SO SIMPLE TO AVOID and this little one has been sat for over 5 years, in a chain, absolutely covered in fleas and unable to move. He had over 200 fleas in between his eyes alone!

Apparently he escaped his garden and a neighbour decided to take him and phone the police.

We have no words.

We can't deny we feel furious over how this person has treated this beautiful boy... And because he had no microchip or any identification... The owner is denying responsibility.

What would you name this little guy? He looks a little like a Westie... He has one tuft of hair that's stained black with flea dirt but it has the feel of Westie fur... Maybe it will be white after another round of medicated baths!

Hello Animal Lovers ☀️👋🏽🐾

We have a broody hen so our rooster is on overdrive being protective!

Not all of our volunteers are comfortable or know about Roosters and their behaviours!!! 😅😅🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😂 (We all work is different species departments and have our specialities i.e snakes, amphibians etc!).

This volunteer didn't know about the rooster 🐓🐓 and his ninja kicks! 😂😂😂😂

And yes... Those screams are really coming from a human and NOT a chicken in the background 🫣😂😂🫣😂🫣😂

Sorry Jess... You had to be called out on this one 😂😂😂😂😂

Hello Animal Lovers ☀️👋🏽🐾

We asked in our feed this week what animal could have made the little nibble marks on the watermelon 🍉🍉🍉.....

Many of you said a tortoise 🐢!!

And actually tortoises (that aren't tiny babies) absolutely obliterate fruit and veg and leave giant scoop marks! 🤣🤣

Whereas the wallabies leave the cutest little nibble holes... The way they use their little hands to grab is adorable 🥰😍🥰

We hate posting re; asking for donations, but our fundraising is NEVER successful ever... it's so soul destroying and such hard work at the same time to keep going.

We need to raise thousands of pounds to pay for veterinary care, maintenance of enclosures, travel costs to collect rescues...

The visits we do to raise funds will never be enough on their own. 😑😓

We are SO grateful to those who have donated, but sadly with just £20.50 donated this whole month... No improvement on donations is occurring.

It really shows that our donation campaigns fail all the time. 😔😔

So we wanted to make a post to say... IF you're able to (and we understand many people cannot) but if you're able to help in anyway, it would literally be life-changing to our rescues 🙏🏽🙏🏽

This really hot weather we've been having may be uncomfortable for us humans (and our furry family members! 🐾 🐶 🐈 🐰) but for some of our reptiles it's a great opportunity to use our outdoor enclosures!

It allows us to give them natural sunlight and basking opportunities ☀️☀️ in a safe way!

Hello Animal Lovers 👋🏽 🐾 ☀️ 😚

We hope everyone's keeping cool today in the heat wave! 😎 🥵☀️

This is Princess, one of our rescued Burmese pythons,

She came to us in a terrible state, she was absolutely covered in mites and was so anaemic and almost all of her skin was covered in infected wounds.

She also had a head injury which has led to some neurological issues, so she can be a challenge to feed as she has a form of intention tremor.

Each day we see her improving ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

She absolutely loves to swim and it's when she seems to have the best control of her body 🫶🏽😍

We love to see her so happy!! 🥹🥹

Would you stroke Princess? Or run a mile??? 🤔

But should an owner respect other people's phobias/fears and control their dog?

If you say 'oh but my dog is friendly' should that matter?

What are your thoughts? 🧐

Regardless of the breed you should always have control of your dogs around delivery drivers or people entering your property/garden? 🤔

Hello Animal Lovers 👋🏽🐾☀️

We have a very special little boy who needs a very special person...

We thought he was a Yorkshire cross but his DNA results have come back saying he's a Biewer Yorkshire Terrier! 🫶🏼😍

He is SO amazing, has a wonderful character and personality, he has such a BIG character despite being absolutely tiny.

He's over 5 months old (DOB is around the end of November last year) and he will be castrated but as of yet those two VERY tiny ⚽ ⚽ are still yet to be in a better position to be castrated!! 😂 (They've descended, we just would like them to be a tiny bit bigger!).

He has a SIGNIFICANT challenge...

He doesn't have properly working back legs... He is SO fast (but drags himself) and so we're looking into getting him a wheelchair, but so far no one can produce one small enough!!!! 🫣🙈🙈

He is absolutely amazing...and we realise to have a dog who cannot walk properly unaided maybe impossible to re-home...

But maybe there is a family out there who will treasure this beautiful little soul?

Some of us even got to meet you at vet school and hear even more about your amazing travels and encounters.
