We are saddened to share that this years Danson Park Fireworks will not be going ahead.

Despite the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, circumstances mean that we are unable to deliver the event in 2025.

We know this will be disappointing news for many who were looking forward to joining us.

Our focus now is on bringing the event back next year in a refreshed format that will be even bigger and better.

We would like to thank our partners, supporters, and the community for their continued encouragement and understanding.

All ticket holders will receive a refund from Skiddle. Refunds are processed automatically within 48 hours.

We’re proud to be supporting The ‘Bexley Box’ project from London Borough of Bexley with a donation of £1,000.

The project will see some of the borough’s most vulnerable housebound residents receive a special box filled with goods designed to keep them warm and well over the winter months.

The boxes will be filled with essentials such as porridge, tinned goods, scarves, hats and warm socks, as well a list of useful contacts and winter wellbeing advice and a special festive treat.

Today Danson Park Fireworks CIC attended the memorial in Bexleyheath to mark .

We remember all those servicemen and women from across the United Kingdom and Commonwealth, who have fought and fallen so we can live in a free and democratic society today.

Our wreath was laid by our key volunteer, the wonderful Johnny Worral.

Danson Park Fireworks have been running for a good while now, and it wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for Danny Hackett and Kerry Allon. Most of us experience the amazing fireworks show on the night, but it takes months of planning and organising in order to make the fireworks event a success.

When we all go home, their hard work doesn’t end there. They carry out the clean up operation immediately after and never rest until the park is spotless and clear. Then there are the cheques to write for the many charities that Danson Park Fireworks support.

To top this off, the planning for next year has aleady begun. They both make Danson Park Fireworks what it is today and Bexley wouldn’t have a display if it weren’t for these two amazing people.

So on behalf of the Communications Team and all staff, we would like to say a huge thank you to Danny and Kerry for all their hard work. We are looking forward to next year’s Fireworks show and know that you will both make it a success.
