REPORT ON PETANQUE COPETITION AT OAK TREE FARM ON SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST
Delighted to say that we have a new champion for this year - Robert Fergusson. Congratulations Rob, truly deserved with some great play on the day!

In addition, we raised £1650 on the day, so together with a £500 donation from the Gent's Club, this means that we have sent £2150 to Prostate Cancer UK. Thankyou everyone for taking part and supporting this cause.

In the current drought situation PLEASE do not light bonfires!
There was a recent incident in Foston where the property owners were away for a few days, and their gardener left a fire unattended. Luckily this was put out by the Parish Council.
Our environment is under great strain at the moment, and just a small spark can be dangerous! Please take your garden waste to the council recycling centre or use your own brown bin, which is now emptied weekly.
A fire broke out near Driffield yesterday. Please don’t let it be Foston next!
