Berwick Visual Arts is an initiative of The Maltings (Berwick) Trust which was recently awarded National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) status by the Arts Council England North East. This status includes the provision for development and delivery of a visual arts programme

Berwick Visual Arts manages The Berwick Residency programme along with two exhibtion spaces; The Granary Gallery with a rollin

g programme of historical and contemporary work and The Gymnasium Gallery which show the work of the residency artist and other occasional exhibitions. We also develop a number of other initiatives to support the development of the visual arts in Berwick-upon-Tweed
