Meet our talented students - Kira and David!

We’re proud to introduce Kira and David, two gifted participants in our Piano Tutoring Project for Ukrainian refugees.

On Friday 30th May, they delivered a splendid performance alongside their dedicated tutor, Oksana Hermanchuk, at St Mary’s Church in Hemel Hempstead. Their passion, resilience, and musical growth were truly inspiring.

This project has been made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors. We are deeply grateful for your contributions, which continue to bring hope, joy, and opportunity to these young musicians.

Thank you for standing with us!

Concert of Resilience and Hope
25 February 2025

On Sunday, 23rd February, St Mary’s Church, Northchurch was filled with warmth, reflection, and community as we came together for Art and Music of Resilience. The event was well attended, and we are so grateful for the support and kindness shown.

The performances by Yaroslav Oliinyk, Vladyslav Demianov, andOksana Hermanchuk were truly moving, bringing beautiful music to life, including pieces by Ukrainian composers. The exhibition of children's artwork from “From Ukraine to a New Beginning: Art of Resilience” was equally powerful, sharing stories of hope and strength.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised £348 in donations, which will help support future projects celebrating art, resilience, and community.

A big thank you to Hertfordshire County Council for their support and to everyone who joined us. Your presence made this evening truly special.

Let’s keep celebrating the power of art and music to bring people together.

Merry Makers’ Workshop.
Court House, St Peter’s Church, Berkhamsted
30 November 2024

We are deeply grateful to St. Peter's Church for providing a space for our Merry Makers’ Workshop for Ukrainian children.

It was a heart-warming time spent making decorations, chatting, and enjoying each other’s company. The workshop helped the children relax, develop their creative skills, build friendships, and find moments of joy away from the stress caused by the conflict in their home country.
Thank you for supporting this meaningful event!

Music that Painted the Air

Our recent neoclassical piano concert was truly something special. One guest said it best:

“Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity, talent and energy on the piano this evening. It felt as though we were watching artists painting a masterpiece in front of our eyes (or rather ears!). I really hope you come back to play at the church again”.

A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us and supported this incredible event. Let’s keep the music alive!

Neoclassical Piano Concert for a Cause

Saturday 9th November 2024

St Peter’s Church came alive with the enchanting sounds of neoclassical piano, saxophone and flute, as we welcomed the extraordinary talents of Ukrainian composer and pianist Yaroslav Oliinyk and multi-instrumentalist Alex Smirnov. The concert was a tremendous success, received with standing ovations from an audience of over 350 people.

This magical evening not only showcased breathtaking performances, but also fostered a strong sense of community spirit. Together, we celebrated the power of music to connect people across cultures and generations.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this concert a reality. From the organizers and volunteers to the incredible musicians who poured their hearts into every note - your passion and dedication were truly inspiring.

We’re also proud to share that this event supported two vital causes: the St Peter’s Church Renovation Appeal, ensuring this historic venue remains a place of gathering and inspiration, and EducArtEvent, a charity helping displaced Ukrainian children engage with culture and the arts.

Thank you to all who attended, supported, and made this evening one to remember. Together, we’ve created not just a concert, but a lasting impact.
