Lunch club and activities

At the Community Link Cafe today we had beans on toast or scrambled eggs for lunch followed by homemade scones and cakes.
After lunch we played dominoes and cards.

Today at Thursday Lunch Club we had another fabulous meal made by Mandy...after lunch we played dominoes and cards, next week it's Musial bingo

Today at the Community Link Cafe we’ve had chicken casserole with boiled baby potatoes with carrot and swede followed by sticky toffee pudding with cream.
After lunch we played Play your cards right and Kim’s game.

At the Community Link Cafe today we had filled jacket potatoes followed by homemade scones and cakes.
After lunch we played dominoes and Mexican train. Plus Kevin has been painting.

Today at Thursday lunch club Mandy was back and made us a delicious roast dinner or cottage pie.
After lunch Alan and Joanne came to talk to us about when they lived in Indonesia, it was very interesting and a lot of questions asked, next week we have Drum circle.

Today at the Community Link Cafe we had sausage and mash followed by apple Crumble and ice cream.
After lunch we did a picture quiz and a true or false quiz, we found some very interesting facts x

Today at the Community Link Cafe we had carrot and coriander soup and homemade cakes.
After lunch some of us chatted in the conservatory whilst others played dominoes or cards.

Today at Thursday Lunch Club, we had the lovely Jane from Age UK come
to talk to us about different benefits we may be eligible for, also blue badges and other things like Counci tax reduction etc. Jane will help with filling forms and applying for things.
We would also like to say thank you to Mel for cooking for us while Mandy has been away.
Next week we have Alan from Cornerstones coming to talk to us.

Today at the Community Link Cafe we had Lina and Tom from Utility Aid Foundation all the way from Cambridge to document what we do and see our organisation.
We have been successful with a new application for some funding from them. The Victoria Hall and the CLC are already supported by Utility Aid Foundation who help us to source favourable energy prices due to our charitable status, plus the funding paid for our new sign.
For lunch we had Fish in a Cheese Sauce and Jam sponge.
After Lunch we enjoyed the fabulous Andre is Elvis, the clients really enjoyed this and it shows how much we really do get from Music. Our game staff team player of the day was Vanessa again!!! Today she Dueted with Elvis, great day had by all.
