This week is Volunteers' Week and it feels like a good moment to share something about how Dots Tots actually works.

Dots Tots is run entirely by volunteers. Georgia, Megan and Thea show up every Monday morning because they genuinely love what this group does for families in Belper. Nobody gets paid. We're a nonprofit, which means every penny that comes through the door goes straight towards keeping the group running: room hire, resources, and making sure it stays as affordable as possible for every family who walks through the door.

We don't do it for recognition. We do it because we've all felt the loneliness of early parenthood and we know what it means to finally find your people.

So if you've ever come to Dots Tots and felt welcome, thank you for being part of it. It's what keeps us turning up every Monday 🐞

Tickets are now available for our Raffle. All funds will go towards the continued running of our lovely parent and baby playgroup.

Just a reminder that we'll be at the Baby and Children's Market at Belper Leisure Centre on Saturday 13th June, come along for a browse and help us keep Dots Tots running for families in Belper! 🐞

Every penny raised goes straight back into the group. We'd also still love donations for our stall, good condition children's clothes, toys and books all welcome. Items should be washed and stain free please, and for anything larger drop us a message first.

Dots Tots is a labour of love. It's low cost by design, because we believe every family deserves a friendly place to land, regardless of budget. But keeping it running has its costs, and we want to make sure we're here for families in Belper for a long time to come.

So we're doing something about it!
