Legion of Mary Belfast OL Queen of Peace Praesidium. Mondays 07:30pm at 14 Cliftonville Rd in Belfast. Immaculata Comitium. Everyone welcome!

This page is administered by Our Lady Queen of Peace Praesidium. We meet every Monday 07:30pm at Frank Duff House, 14 Cliftonville Rd in Belfast. The Legion of Mary is a lay catholic organisation whose members are giving service to the Church on a voluntary basis in almost every country. The Cause for Beatification has been introduced for three legionaries: The Servant of God, Frank Duff (1889-1980), Founder of the Legion, who attended the Second Vatican Council as a Lay Observer; Venerable Edel Quinn (1907-1944), Legion Envoy to East Africa; and the Servant of God, Alfie Lambe (1932-1959), Legion Envoy to South America.

After waiting forever and the biggest delay in releasing the 4th Episode of our podcast, we can confidently say this episode is available now. If on the previous episode you had two Brazilians 🇧🇷 now you have two Irish men 🇮🇪

Episode four of the Legio Mariae Podcast welcomes our dear Ciaran Wright, legionary of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Praesidium, and puts Richard Harrington in the chair for the first time. It is a conversation about vocation, about perseverance, and mostly about timing that is not ours.
A praesidium spends its week praying for people who do not practise their faith, or who are having a bad time in their life. For seven months Ciaran was one of the people being prayed for. He simply did not know it yet. That is the shape of the story: how Our Lady draws a person back, quietly, on her own schedule, long after the point at which everyone else would have stopped expecting them.

"You do not need the Legion to get to Heaven, but it sure does help".

Watch on our website, on YouTube or listen on Spotify.
Help us make this apostolate grow by sharing with your family and friends as well.

God bless!!
