Girdwood Shared Youth Project (GSY), supports young people from both sides of Cliftonpark Avenue interface & surrounding Girdwood area.

“When young people come together across divides, they don’t just imagine a better future—they build it.” Girdwood youth space is a place for the young people of Belfast to express and enjoy themselves and gives them the opportunity to engage with young people from all areas and different backgrounds, The hub is a safe and welcoming place for everyone and we hope that, both it and other facilities will be used by the youth of the area, nearby community groups, as well as other organisations in north Belfast, including statutory bodies and charities.

The girls sipped on hot chocolate & marshmallows while getting stuck into our “Paint Your Personality” canvases 🎨💗 Each girl is creating something that represents her - her personality, interests & all the little things that make her unique. 🥰

we’ll be getting back to our canvases next week & can’t wait to see how they turn out! 👀🎨

The 2nd half of our night we finished with Katie’s quiz! 🧠 - a challenge even for the rest of the staff 🤣
