Kurdish Community In Belfast

On 5 February, the Kurdish community in Belfast stood in solidarity to raise our voice for Rojava.
As Kurds, we protested to demand recognition, self-rule, and justice for a people whose rights, identity, and future continue to be denied.
Our presence was a clear message of Kurdish unity and solidarity beyond borders.

Rojava demands recognition, self-rule, and the right of its people to govern their own land...

Let’s stand together and go as one.
The meeting point is JD Gym Square, North Belfast.
We will go by car, and there will be free seats for those who don’t have one.

Kurds in Belfast protested the attacks against Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah with a demonstration in front of the City Hall.

The demonstration began with a one-minute moment of silence in memory of the martyrs of the Kurdistan Revolution, specifically honoring martyred commander Ziyad Heleb, one of the leaders of the resistance.
