We are seeking a dedicated Deli Assistant to join our Delish Deli Team . As part of our team you will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service within the store. You will be involved in food preparation and serving customers whilst ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of deli products
Assist customers with their deli orders and provide excellent customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli counter and work area
Operate deli equipment efficiently and safely
Uphold food safety standards and regulations at all times
Utilise basic maths skills for accurate order processing
Support the team in ensuring timely service during busy periods
Engage in upselling to promote additional deli products
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and assist customers courteously

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 27 with possible overtime/holiday cover
