WASA faces a 35M annual penalty from the EMA over untreated wastewater discharges at the Beetham Treatment Plant. The aging facility, serving over 182,000 residents, has seen years of neglect. A175M upgrade is needed, with repairs underway to fix a collapsed sewer main by February 2025.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful patrons who came out to support our Bingo event last night! Your presence, energy, and enthusiasm made it a truly memorable evening.

Congratulations to all the lucky prize winners, we hope you enjoy your winnings and had as much fun as we did!
