Thanks to the River Great Ouse Rotary for running another charity quiz night at The Three Cups. A good night's fun was had by all, even if we're still baffled by some of the sweet treats clues! Rotary Club of Bedford Castle is pleased to report a podium finish in 3rd place.

Painting the counselling room of The Road Victims Trust is a good example of who or what we are in a nutshell.

We get together to make a difference in our local community, help out local charities and raise money for local causes.

And we have fun along the way, and reward ourselves with pints and roasts when we‘ve done the work.

Some of our members attended in the first Bedford Charity Chase last year! We look forward to making an appearance again! Such a rare event were ALL proceeds go to local charities in and around Bedford.

Local is also what our club stands for, so naturally we love the Bedford Charity Chase

We‘re so pleased someone remembered to take pictures! Thank you for joining us yesterday for our 5th pub quiz in aid of BedsGovet who monitor pollution of our River Great Ouse with the aim to highlight pollution threats on policy level and restore it to a healthy river for everyone to enjoy.

We failed to match previous heights and didn't get anywhere near a place on the podium, but it's the taking part and raising money for good causes that counts!

We can't wait for the 5th of our pub quizzes in aid of BedsGovet. They do some really important work:

BedsGOVET (Bedfordshire Great Ouse Valley Environmental Trust) is a registered Charity focused on monitoring and improving the health of the River Great Ouse. One of their main remits is monitoring the pollution from Anglian Water and working to get the government to enact legalisation to stop that.
