Fundraising at Bedford Eid Festival 2025

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th July

Volunteers are required for fund raising at the Bedford Eid Festival this weekend.

Daarul Huda has secured a tent where we are doing fundraising for our masjid extension project.

We are selling various homemade cakes, snacks-desserts & drinks.
*Volunteers needed for both days.*

If you are available then come & join us to assist.

_Sayyiduna Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported:_

_That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked as to which salaah was most excellent after the prescribed salaah, and which fast was most excellent after the month of Ramadan._
*He ﷺ said:*
*Salaah offered in the middle of the night (Tahajjud) and the most excellent fast after (fasting) in the month of Ramadan is the fast in Allah's month Al-Muharram.*

Today being the blessed day of Friday, let us:

1. Recite Surah Kahf.
2. Engage in fervent duaa.
3. Recite abundant durood/salawaat on Nabi ﷺ.

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“It is not permissible for a Muslim to cut of ties with his brother for more than three days. Whoever cuts of ties for more than three days and dies, he will enter Hellfire.”

(Sunan Abi Dawud 4914)

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Buraidah says that his father رضي الله عنهما said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

(Initially) I had prohibited you from consuming qurbani meat for more then 3 days, (However, now) I give you permission to store the meat and consume for long as you like.
