Marian Vian PTA is the Parent Teacher Association for Marian Vian Primary School (Charity No. 1056792).

We are a voluntary committee of parents and staff and exist to raise funds for resources and equipment that cannot be financed from the school budget. Donate your unwanted clothes & support our school!

We’re hosting a Happy School Bags charity clothing collection and would love your support.

📅 Collection dates:
• Friday 17th April – before & after school
• Monday 20th April – before & after school
• Tuesday 21st April – morning only

📍 Drop donations at the PTA window or bring them to the school playground on the dates above

If you’re having a clear-out over the holidays, please think of us

Please donate:
• Clean, reusable clothing (adult & children)
• Paired shoes
• Fashion accessories
• Handbags, belts, hats
• Jewellery & perfumes

👉 Pack items in any plastic bags (bin bags are perfect)

We can’t accept:
• School uniform
• Toys, books, DVDs
• Duvets, pillows, household linen
• Carpets, blankets, curtains
• Bric-a-brac
• Dirty, damaged or wet items

Get your dancing shoes ready! Our school disco is happening on Friday 6 February 2026 and it’s going to be a fun-filled evening for all year groups 💃🕺

🎟 Tickets: £4.50 (includes a snack and unlimited drinks)

✨ Elfridges Gift Shop is back! ✨

A favourite festive tradition the children absolutely love.

Next week, children will get the chance to choose surprise gifts for loved ones — all by themselves! 🎁💚❤️

🗓 KS1: Tuesday 16th December

💷 Gifts: £2 or £2.50

Please send money in a labelled envelope with your child’s name and class, and a list of who they’d like to buy for.

We need your sweet treats for the Christmas Fair cake stall! Shop-bought or homemade, every donation helps us raise funds for the school.

Own Clothes Day this Friday, 14th Nov.

This year, we are asking for donations to go into our Christmas Hamper for the raffle. Each year group has been assigned a theme, this is to ensure we get a good mix of different items.

Please send your child / children in with their donation on Friday morning, there will be members of the PTA dotted around taking your donations.

Alternatively, we are asking for a minimum of a £1 donation.

While you’re clearing out clothes for the Happy Bags collection next Tuesday, why not pop aside any unwanted household items, ornaments, toys or small treasures gathering dust or stored away unused, we'd love to give them a new home. Your donations will help support our Christmas Fair.
