1st Beckenham South Christ Church Scout Group We are a local Scout Group based at Christ Church Beckenham. We have Beavers aged 6-8 years, Cubs aged 8-10.5 years and scouts 10.5- 14 years.

Come and join the fun! We are a new Scout Group based at Christ Church Beckenham, providing everyday adventure for young people in Beckenham and the surrounding area!

This week Cubs celebrated Chinese New Year with Chinese food and learning some simple phrases in Mandarin and Cantonese. They finished building the dragons and lions they started last week and the evening ended with a dragon and lion dance!

This Tuesday, the Cubs commemorated Remembrance Day. As part of the evening they decorated stones with poppies and messages. We also learnt about the contribution of Scouts to the war effort and decoded a message sent via semaphore.
