What a special meeting it was tonight. R.W.Bro. Peter David Williams AGM was installed as WM of Grand Master's Lodge in the presence of the current PGM and two other Past PGM's of Kent.

“The West Kent Fine Dining Lodge”

What a super meeting we had at Oakley House, Bromley, yesterday. As is our custom, it was a brief meeting with the main focus being on the dining arrangements, however, on this occasion we were privileged to have in attendance W Bro Terry Hall, SLGR MetAGInsp, Chairman of the Federation of School Lodges, as our guest. He gave a short talk about FSL of which John Roan School Lodge is a founding member. During his talk we became aware that Terry’s grandfather had also been Chairman of FSL several decades ago; a very special family story.

Pictured (l to r) in the lodge room, with our rescued banner and pedestal drape clearly displayed, are Terry Hall (Chair FSL), Archie Torrance (WM) and Perri Ahmet (Lodge Secretary).

After the meeting, we attended a drinks reception and gourmet meal at Chapter One, Locksbottom, Bromley, with our wives and partners. As always, the food and wine was superb and the company even better.

I was very happy to support Tom Quinn in Dartford on Saturday as he took the Chair of Erdemont Lodge (West Kent) again after a period of 34yrs. It was a super turnout. Glad to have been invited to respond to the Toast to the Visitors too. Thanks Tom. 👍🏻

It was a super day at Kings Hill GC today. Many thanks to all the players and to the organisers for a happy and enjoyable occasion.
