VWOW Project

VWOW Project The VWOW Project is dedicated to the veiled Muslim women around the world. This page is for anyone with a genuine interest in the practice of the veil in Islam.

It aims to allow their voices to be heard and encourage diplomatic debates on current issues in the media. Unfortunately, where the niqab has been misunderstood by those not accustomed to it, the simple truth is that it has also been abused by those that practice it. This has further damaged the conception people have of the niqab. The VWOW Project came into being following the French ban on the n

iqab/veil. Many Muslim women consider it a religious obligation and many others see it as a preferred practice in Islam; however, the VWOW Project’s intention is to educate the public about the issue whilst campaigning for it to be the right of a woman alone to choose whether she decides to practice the veil and for her right to be able to do so in the community and society in which she lives.

In the final Friday and final odd night of the blessed month of Ramadhan, please dig deep and show your support for a worthy cause.
For the third year running, we aim to host a community Eid dinner for our non-Muslim neighbours here in Carlinghow.
Remember charity does not decrease wealth. Indeed, the Prophet said "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity."
We are half way towards reaching our goal. Together, we can do this. Donate £1 and get the reward of donating £70,000+ ! Subhanallah.
Please help spread the word.
May Allah accept all of our endeavours and make our communities strong, respectful, tolerant, peaceful and loving ones. Ameen! 🙏❤️
