🌸 Welcome to Batley in Bloom 🌸
Batley in Bloom is a volunteer led civic initiative focused on improving Batley town centre through planting, colour and visible pride.
We are starting with the town centre.
We are doing it properly.
We are building something sustainable.
This is about raising standards and creating an environment we can all feel proud of. Clean, green and full of colour.
Already we have local businesses offering support, volunteers stepping forward and conversations underway with Kirklees Council to ensure everything is structured and responsible.
Over the coming weeks we will:
• Confirm the first planting zone
• Secure sponsorship for individual planters
• Organise our first planting day
• Share regular progress updates
