What does it mean to truly feel at home?

For Eleanor and her two children, it means feeling settled. Having space to enjoy family life. And being able to think about the future rather than constantly worrying about housing.

After living in temporary accommodation, Eleanor found a safe, affordable home through our National Homelessness Property Fund 1, in partnership with Developing Health and Independence (DHI).

“This is our home – and it feels like it.”

It’s this feeling of home and stability that we want thousands more people to experience through our new Resonance Housing Pathways Fund.

Building on more than a decade of experience, the fund has ambition, over time, to help c.15,000 people out of homelessness and into safe, affordable and settled homes.

A safe, stable home can be the foundation for a new beginning. Adele’s experiences and story shows what that can mean in practice.

After losing her home - and moving through multiple temporary accommodations with her children - Adele found a safe, affordable flat in Bristol through our National Homelessness Property Fund 1 and housing partner Developing Health and Independence (DHI).

For Adele and her family, having somewhere settled to call home has made a profound difference. With friendly neighbours, affordable bills and a home that better meets her family’s needs, she says: “Now I feel we have freedom... it now feels like a home.”

For more than a decade, Resonance has worked with investors and expert housing partners to provide homes for around 4,000 adults and children facing housing crisis across the UK.

Now, our new Resonance Housing Pathways Fund is building on that experience, with the ambition to help thousands more people like Adele and her children move out of homelessness and temporary accommodation and into safe, affordable and settled homes.

Our goal is to grow the fund to ÂŁ700 million by 2030, with the potential to help c.15,000 people out of homelessness.

By bringing together institutional investors and expert housing partners, we want to create more pathways out of homelessness – giving people the stability and security of a home from which they can move forward with their lives.

Because behind every investment and every home is a person or family who deserves somewhere safe to call home.
