How do you reach the people mainstream services miss? In parts of Gloucestershire where need is high but services are thin, we tested two ways, with funding from the Crisis & Resilience Fund through Stroud District Council and Forest of Dean District Council:

📊 Proactive outreach using LIFT data
🤝 Referrals through trusted community hubs

Their success means they're now turning into programmes, with longer-term funding for us to provide 5-6 week money guidance across Stroud and the Forest of Dean.

☔Our Quids in! Rainy Day Money Programme helps Londoners build financial resilience, so they can adapt, prepare, and thrive in the face of climate challenges.

Through 1:1 coaching and personalised action plans, we’ve already:
✅ Had 114 people referred to the programme
✅ Identified £222K+ in financial gains for participants
✅ Delivered 156+ non-financial wins (debt advice, mental health support, housing services, etc.)

Clean Slate is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Programmes on a maternity cover basis.
​
This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the delivery of impactful services across all operational departments, ensuring our programmes continue to improve the financial wellbeing, resilience and life opportunities of people on low incomes.

​As Head of Programmes, you will provide leadership to managers across the organisation, maintain strong relationships with funders and commissioners, oversee organisational performance and reporting, support business development and programme growth, and ensure that our services remain safe, compliant, effective and sustainable.

This role will suit an experienced leader who combines strategic thinking with strong operational management skills and who is passionate about creating meaningful change for people facing financial hardship.

Clean Slate is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Team Leader to oversee the delivery of our services across Gloucestershire, with potential to cover for other regions where required.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people manager who thrives on bringing structure, maintaining high standards and ensuring teams have the support they need to succeed. You'll lead a hybrid team delivering life-changing support to people facing financial hardship, while ensuring projects run smoothly, targets are met, and stakeholders receive a consistently excellent service.

If you are a confident leader with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a passion for helping people achieve positive outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

As Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of both remote and face-to-face services across Gloucestershire. You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Support Workers, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, performance targets are achieved, and quality standards remain consistently high.

This role requires a highly organised individual who can balance people management, operational delivery, reporting requirements and stakeholder relationships while maintaining a strong focus on detail and continuous improvement.
