💙 Free Medical Camp – Makima, Embu County 💙🌍

On 11th January 2026, Mama Melissa Foundation held a successful free medical camp in Makima, Embu County, in collaboration with Consolata Kyeni Hospital, Embu.

Over 400 women and men received screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and prostate cancer, alongside HIV and diabetes testing. The camp was a huge success and made a real difference in our community.

🙏 Thank you to Mama Melissa and her amazing team, the 22 dedicated medical staff from Consolata Kyeni Hospital, Jordan Khaweri, Clinical Officer at Kitololoni Dispensary, the priests in attendance, and most importantly our wonderful donors in the UK who made this possible.

Together, we are saving lives and bringing healthcare closer to the people. 💙

We remember those we have lost to breast cancer and stand with all those affected — you are not alone.

In 2025, Mama Melissa Foundation proudly opened the Mama Melissa Cancer Centre in Rwika, Embu, Kenya, making a real difference for women and their families. By God’s grace, we continue to grow and expand our public health outreach.

We may not change the whole world, but changing one life at a time truly matters.
