A cancer diagnosis can turn life upside down, bringing intense stress, anxiety, and depression. Research shows that around 25–33% of cancer patients experience clinical depression or anxiety during treatment, and up to 50% face some form of emotional distress. These struggles don’t always end with treatment—they can continue for years after.
