🧥👕🚗 CLOTHING COLLECTION DRIVE-THRU IS BACK! 🚗👚👟

Got a cupboard full of clothes that no longer spark joy? A mystery bag of “I’ll sort that one day” items lurking under the stairs? This is your moment.

Thursday, 25th June, we’re holding our next Happy Bags clothing collection and dropping off couldn’t be easier!

✅ Drive out

No need to leave the comfort of your air-conditioned car. In fact, this may be the only drive-thru where you leave with less baggage than you arrived with. 😎

Just bring your unwanted clothing, shoes and accessories in any plastic bag or bin bag.

🕕 Thursday 25th June: 6pm–7pm
🕘 Friday 26th June: Before 9am

So have a quick wardrobe clear-out, fill a bag (or five!), and let us do the heavy lifting.

Change of date for our Infant Party ⚠️

Dear parents and carers,

Due to the current heatwave and the school's adjusted opening arrangements to keep children safe, we have decided to move our Infant Party from Friday 26th June to Friday 10th July.

We had hoped temperatures would be cooler by Friday, but the latest forecast suggests conditions will still be very warm. The safety and wellbeing of the children is our priority, so we feel postponing the event is the best decision.

All tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date. If you can no longer attend, please let us know.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to celebrating with you on 10th July.🥰

This Friday 26th June our next happy bags clothing collection!
🧥👕👚👔👢🥾🧤🧢🥿👟👗

Its super easy for you to drop off any unwanted clothing in a way that suits you. Just bring your filled bags to school, and don't worry if you can't find the bag that was sent home, you can use any plastic bag/bin bag.

You can drive in and drop off on Thursday 25th evening in the school car park from 6-7pm or before 9am on Friday 26th June. Please see poster for details 😊

Your child is invited to the infant school’s MINI PARTY! ☺️

INFANT SCHOOL MINI PARTY (This one is for children attending Four Lanes in years R, 1 and 2)
Date: Friday 26th June 2026 Time: 3.30-4.30pm
Cost: £3.00 incl. drink & sweet treat

What do you need to know?
Children attending our mini party will be invited to wear their party clothes for a boogie and play with their friends! They can bring along their favourite teddy to dance with and will enjoy a sweet treat and games in the infant hall!

The event will take place straight after school so they will need to bring their clothes and teddies in a named bag that morning and will have time to change at the end of the day.

We’re excited to invite YOU to a Bingo Night! This is a fantastic opportunity to come together, enjoy some friendly competition, and support our brilliant school in the process.

📆Date: Friday 19th June
⏰Time: 7pm
🧭Location: Four Lanes Junior Hall

Bring your family, friends, and neighbours for a night of great prizes, laughter, and community spirit!

You can pre-order drinks or buy on the night - with a choice of wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks. (fancy something else let us know and we’ll do our best!)

Your participation helps raise funds for the school, so not only will you have a blast, but you'll also be supporting a great cause.
Don’t forget to grab a ticket and tag a friend who needs to come!

The biggest of thank yous to our amazing families and local community for our soggy summer fayre!

So much work happens behind the scenes for events like this to happen and it makes it all worth while to see children and families having a great time in their lovely school 🤩

Time to put our feet up for a few weeks until our grown ups bingo night 19th June. Maybe see you there! 🤪

Is it raining for the Four Lanes Summer Fayre of course! Does that stop our fun, no way!

We’re busy setting up ready for our stalls in our junior and infant halls. And bring a brolly and a rain coat for the big stuff outside! We’ve got a few shelters outside, Indoor seating and lots of lovely sellers and games in the dry.

So pop on your wellies and rain coat, come and jump in puddles with us and support us from 12 - 4pm, Four Lanes schools, Hanmore Road 🤩

Tomorrow’s the day… Four Lanes Summer Fayre is happening (come rain, shine… or a bit of both)!

Because the British weather loves a plot twist, we’ve had a little last‑minute remix 🌦️

Our fun is now indoors and outdoors, while the big attractions, plus all the glorious food and drink, are still holding strong outside.

There’s loads of fun, games, treats and entertainment waiting for you… plus just think of all the good this rain is doing for our gardens😉
