🩷💙 Today is the International Wave of Light, marking the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week. 🕯️
Tonight, families across the world come together to remember their precious babies who were taken far too soon. Babies who may have only been here for a moment, but who will be loved and remembered for a lifetime.
In each time zone, candles are lit, creating a beautiful wave of light that travels around the world for 24 hours. Although 7pm has passed here in the UK, it's never too late to light a candle, say a name, share a memory or simply take a moment to remember.
For every baby who couldn't stay, for every family carrying a piece of their heart in heaven, and for all the love that never fades. 🩷💙
Tonight, we remember them all. 🕯️✨

Today we are at Wickford Carnival raising money and awareness with our No1 helper! Isla has been handing out leaflets, manned the tombola, has chatted to families and generally worked her little socks off! That huge brownie and ice cream has been well and truly deserved! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us and in particular, a massive thank you to a fellow NICU family who made such a generous donation 💜

Woohooo! The legend that is Catherine Pighini Kent crossed the finish line in a brilliant time and with gift aid, has so far raised just over £350 for us. This will fund so many care packs and allows us to continue supporting families in NICU! Cathy you are amazing and thank you is never enough!

Dear Teacher, As you welcome our little one into your classroom today, we want to share a tiny piece of our hearts with you. Long before they wore this oversized school uniform, they were fighting for their very first breath in an incubator. To you, they are a bright, eager student starting a brand new adventure. To us, they are our absolute miracle.

We want you to know how fiercely resilient they are, even on the days when tiredness hits hard or sensory overload takes over. Those early months in the neonatal unit taught them unbelievable strength, and every milestone they reach now feels like pure magic.

Thank you for seeing past the medical charts and early hurdles, and for loving them just as they are. You are part of their journey now, and we are so grateful for the bright future ahead together.
