Shout out and appreciation post 🥳
Some of you may be aware we have been doing shows on whatnot to help raise funds for the charity. It was on here that I met an amazing person called Charley. From talking to a chat screen we became friends and I found out she worked at Royal London- which you all know is very close to our hearts!
Long story short Charley and her team put on a coffee morning/ day to raise money for us! So much generosity and support we want to say thank you!
I will update when we have a total for what was raised 💜

Easter Wellbeing Day @ Royal London Hospital NICU — complete 💜 🐣
What a truly special day it’s been. It was so lovely to meet so many incredible families, each at different stages of their NICU journey.
We were so pleased to provide a little refuel with wraps, Costco goodies, Easter treats, and small gifts for the amazing staff who give so much every single day. You are all appreciated more than words can say.
A very special thank you to Mumma Bennett Bev Bennett for coming along and helping today — especially taking on the important role of stickering Easter eggs for each baby’s family. Between you and Elizabeth Wiseman, you have done an amazing job!
Days like today remind us how powerful community and kindness can be. Sending love to every family and staff member we met 💜 Sinclaire T. Larong

Easter NICU deliveries for London complete! Whilst Ashley & Isla are having a well deserved holiday in Australia, ‘Nanny Pork’ aka Elizabeth Wiseman came and helped with egg deliveries to NICUs in Royal London Hospital, Whipps Cross and Newham Hospital. She was an expert in putting our Easter messages on the eggs by the end of the journey!

Wishing the incredible driving force behind Isla’s Journey Ashley Wiseman a very Happy Mother’s Day & Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible NICU mums past and present 💜
Today can hold so many different emotions. While others may be celebrating with cuddles at home, many of you are spending the day beside incubators, listening to monitors, and holding your baby’s tiny hand through wires and tubes. It’s a path no one ever plans for, and it can be unbelievably hard.
But your strength is extraordinary. The love you show every single day — through long hospital hours, endless worry, and fierce hope — is the very definition of what it means to be a mum. Your babies are so lucky to have you fighting for them.
Today we also hold space for the mothers whose arms are empty. For the mums who have loved and lost, whose babies should be here today. Your motherhood is real, your love is forever, and your babies will always be remembered. 🕊️
To every NICU mum — whether your baby is still in the unit, home in your arms, or watching over you — you are seen, you are strong, and you are not alone.
Happy Mother’s Day. 💐

What a privilege for Isla’s Journey to be invited by Jen Craft MP to the Thurrock International Women’s Day celebrations.
Ashley delivered an incredible speech to a room full of truly inspirational women and young people. Despite the nerves (and a panicked text to me two rows down saying “Mate, I have nothing on these women!”), she had a swift reminder to ditch the imposter syndrome and embrace everything she has achieved!
She did exactly that, going on to deliver a powerful and inspiring speech about her journey and successes. We couldn’t be prouder. 💜
