A Message From the former Committee at BMTC :-
We are so devastated to inform you all that after our AGM this April - Barton Musical Theatre Company will be no more. We did not fulfil the requirement of people to fill the roles that was needed to keep BMTC running.
So many memories, friendships, talent and creativity has originated from BMTC over the years and it is with this decision we have decided to leave this page open for those wishing to look back on it.
It's not all bad news however - in line with the required actions from the BMTC constitution - it was decided to donate all remaining funds to the Joseph Wright Hall & Wilderspin Museum - with the hope that the money will help fund further theatrical arts within Barton. We will do this once we have finalised the books and ensured we have returned all refunds from the Cancelled "Death of A Catfish" Show (Please check your emails if you haven't got it yet including Spam folder!)
To all our members and former members - we want to thank you for everything you have contributed over the years. It was fun while it lasted.
To everyone who has supported us in different ways - whether seeing one of the many productions over the years or just cheerleading us to keep going. Thank you so much.
We hope that we will all see the joy of AmDram and Theatre continue in Barton.
So from Alison, Roger, Shane, Mel & David... Goodbye.
