As part of National Arthritis week so many people around the country are doing their bit. We have to remember what we are trying to achieve and who we are trying to help. Even just sharing or liking a video can spread the message across the world. The fight that Arthritis sufferers face each day is far bigger than you can imagine. Arthritis Ireland have made an amazing video which we suggest you take a minute to watch. We have to join together to fight through this pain.

Because people are still being generous to our Great North Runners we still dont have the exact total. But today we calculated that including gift aid we have currently raised a grand total of £4047.90!!
We would like the thank all of the runners and their supports! The branch couldn't have done it without you!

An amazing day, Whitney Eleanor, David Tingle (was awesome helping The Poda Company) and so many other devoted volunters who gave up their time to help out - an awesome day! And to Cartmel Racecourse, for their awesome support! Thank you all. Initial indications reveal a possible total raised of £2.7K - £3K raised for Arthritis Research UK by the Lakeland Arthritis Research Uk branch Thank you to everyone involved! and keep the donations rolling in for our wonderful charity. Really looking forward to August Bank Holiday Weekend next year!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers yesterday at Cartmel Racecourse. We had an amazing day with the raffle and sponsored race. Raising awareness in a huge way! We are still awaiting an overall figure as we had a deal on tickets and hospitality. With the current total for COLLECTIONS ALONE standing as over £1100 we are super excited to reveal the overall total! Watch this space for more information!! Volunteers Required - Cartmel Racecourse, 23rd August.
Hi Everyone, we have had some interest for helping out at the races on our sponsored race day. If you are still interested in volunteering we do still have tickets available. Any volunteer will be given a paddock entry ticket on arrival and we just ask that you help collect and speak with the public, as well as having time to enjoying the races yourself.
