I just wanted to jump on and share an exciting opportunity with you.
Active Provision CIC is a new alternative provision and enrichment setting based in the Wombwell area. We support young people aged 11–16 who may be disengaged from mainstream education, at risk of exclusion, or in need of structured SEMH-informed support.
Our mission is simple — to provide a safe, structured environment where young people can re-engage with learning, build confidence, and develop practical life skills through sport-based engagement, academic support, and enrichment opportunities including construction and health & beauty.
As we grow, we’re looking to offer a part-time marketing work experience placement for someone who wants real hands-on experience building a brand from the ground up.
This would suit someone studying:
• Marketing
• Business
• Media
• Digital content
• Communications
The role would include:
• Managing and developing our social media presence
• Creating engaging content
• Helping with community outreach
• Supporting marketing campaigns
• Designing simple promotional materials
Hours are flexible and can work around studies. Some work can be done remotely, with occasional visits in the Wombwell area.
This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience, build a portfolio, and be part of something community-focused and meaningful.
